Leeds United Update: Promotion Race Heats Up

Recent Stumble, Ongoing Fight for Top Spot:

Leeds United's automatic promotion hopes took a hit with their 2-2 draw against Watford on March 29th. Conceding a late equalizer prevented them from retaking the top spot in the Championship.

However, the race remains tight, and Leeds are very much in the fight for a return to the Premier League.

This is a good chance to get back on track, but they can't afford any slip-ups against any opponent in this competitive league. 

Following Hull City, they have a run of Championship matches throughout April, including clashes against Coventry City, Sunderland, and Blackburn Rovers. 

Victories in these games will be essential for maintaining their position at the top of the table.

Injury Concerns:

Leeds will have to navigate this crucial period without some key players. 

Stuart Dallas has been ruled out for the rest of the season, while Junior Firpo is also sidelined with an injury. 

There are also fitness doubts surrounding Ilia Gruev ahead of the Hull City match. Manager Daniel Farke will need to find solutions to address these absences and ensure his squad remains strong throughout the upcoming fixtures.
