The 96th Academy Awards ceremony


The 96th Academy Awards ceremony has already come and gone this year! 

It was held on March 10th, 2024, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, celebrating the best films released in 2023.


The night belonged to Christopher Nolan's biographical thriller "Oppenheimer," which dominated the awards with a leading seven wins, including the coveted Best Picture and Best Director statues.

Emma Stone secured her second Best Actress win in seven years for her captivating performance in "Poor Things," while Cillian Murphy delivered a powerful performance that earned him the Best Actor award for his role in "Oppenheimer."

 "Poor Things" wasn't far behind with a strong showing, taking home four awards in various categories. 

"The Zone of Interest" also garnered critical acclaim, winning two awards. 

The ceremony also saw several other films honored throughout the night, recognizing excellence in categories like Best Film Editing, Best Original Score, and Best Documentary Feature.
